Fasting for Miracles

What do you Believe about Miracles?

“I’ve asked God for miracles before, and they didn’t happen.”

“God probably won’t answer my miracle?”

“Miracles don’t happen today.”

“I’ve never seen a miracle take place.”

What precisely do we mean when we talk about miracles?

Broadly speaking, miracles are divine interruptions into human affairs. Miracles are beyond our reach, our ability, our effort, our capacity, our strength. They are “beyond human,” and our human capacity to reason—and thus, divine.

Fasting for Miracles

But what happens when we don’t see our Miracle answered?

That’s the reason I wrote this book!

Tammy Hotsenpiller

Hi, I’m Tammy Hotsenpiller. I’m a Pastor and a Life Coach, and a Believer in Miracles.

Because I’ve asked for many miracles in my life. Some I’ve seen, and some I am still waiting on.

As I searched the scriptures, I realized Jesus was very clear when he said… Somethings only happen by prayer and fasting.

He said to his disciples…when you fast not if you fast.

  • Jesus fasted in the wilderness

  • Moses fasted on Mount Sinai

  • Nehemiah fasted

  • Esther fasted

  • Elijah fasted

…and they all saw Miracles.

I have fasted for many things in my life, but it wasn’t until I spent time in the word of God that I realized you can fast for a miracle.

You see…

Fasting is an act of worship, it’s an act of waiting, believing, and trusting God.

It’s a discipline, and it’s a spiritual union you build with God.

Instead of thinking of miracles as distant, abstract, occasional events that happen for special people in special places, what if you could begin to really live a life of miracles—of actually seeing the supernatural become an everyday occurrence?

Miracles often come in strange packages. It may be a prompting in your spirit or a confirmation through prayer. But God always finds a way to get our attention.

The more I study the miracle stories of the Bible the more I realize God wants to give us miracles.

Every miracle starts with a need. It would not be a miracle if we could do it on our own.

Fasting for Miracles is about two things. Fasting and Miracles.

I have had the honor of receiving this phenomenal book and I have to say, what an insightful and provoking read it is! In Tammy Hotsenpiller’s book “Fasting for Miracles” she leads you on a step-by-step guide of how to skillfully open the door to the miracles of God in your life. You’ll be strengthened in your belief that all things are truly possible and equipped with the insight on how to get God’s attention!

Fasting is not simply a strike from eating food. It is a demand placed upon heaven for breakthrough, healing, deliverance, signs, and wonders.

In this book Tammy will challenge and encourage you to incorporate the lost art of fasting into the rhythm of your life!

Fasting for Miracles

THE PROCESS

Daily Assignment

Each day we will journey together through miracle stories and fasting passages. We will read scripture and discuss the content of each topic. Listed below is the daily outline of the process. Take your time and allow God to speak to you along the way. You will be surprised how much He has to say.

Miracle Passage

Each day you will read a passage of scripture about miracles. The purpose is to remind us that God does perform supernatural acts in the lives of His children. This will be a time for you to be encouraged and strengthen your personal faith. Be sure you read the entire passage. God’s Word is life, and it is power.

Miracle Story

This is where I will make an application for the miracle passage. Take your time in reading each day’s insight. Make note of what God is saying to you along the journey. There will be much to glean from the stories.

Fasting Passage

Again, each day you will have a fasting passage to study. We can learn much from those that practiced fasting in their personal life. Take note of the story surrounding the passage and make a personal application for your daily study.

Fasting Lesson

I have shared my thoughts and some practical suggestions in this section. Remember we are asking God to unleash our faith by doing a miracle. Fasting is an act of discipline and an offering unto God. Stay strong and focused on your journey.

Reflection Time

This is a time for you to work through your thoughts. The questions are a combination of the miracle story we studied along with the fasting passage for that day. This is where you can get real with God. Be honest with your feelings and emotions. This is your journey and your story to tell.

Daily Closing Prayer

Prayer is the most powerful form of communication we have access to. Greater than our phones, or social media, or our personal conversations. Prayer is talking to God. After each assignment you will end with a prayer. Take time to read the prayer and make it your own.

Journal Entry

Over the next twenty-one days you will discover new things about God and His plan for miracles in your life. But you will also discover new things about yourself. At the end of each day there will be a place for you to journal your thoughts and self-discovery. Use this opportunity to write down your journey and the many things God is showing you.

We want to pray for you!

Please, share how we can pray for you!
